Pamela Swyers carries on the story from her debut novel Boys with Cars with her latest release, Married with Children. The first book follows Veronica (Ronnie) and Adison (Adi) from Oklahoma through their years of teenage angst and first loves. Veronica comes from a dysfunctional home and has an alcoholic, drug-addicted mother who abandons her and a wealthy absent father. Adison loses her mum to cancer so these two motherless girls latch on to one another. The sequel focuses on Adison's journey to marriage and family life. She has to deal with raging hormones, little time together and the unwanted romantic attention that husband John is getting from an unexpected source. Expect a third book in the series. Swyers runs Swyers Publishing with her husband, Bill.


Pamela Swyers has another novel out in early 2010. Rebound is about Samantha who finds herself on the rebound and is feeling pretty low until she meets Max, the brother of a co-worker. The pair decide to enter into a pact; to be each other's rebound relationship, platonic only, for one year. But things don't go quite according to plan. Find out more at the author's website.
