With her engagement over and her most recent costume design for a play labelled a flop, Marlowe leaves New York for Los Angeles. She becomes a production assistant under her demanding boss Babs in the wardrobe department of a long-running TV series.
One day, Marlowe is the only person who can fit into a waitress costume for a diner scene. So she steps in as the extra, and one sultry look is exchanged between her and one of the main characters Jake, played by heartthrob Angus Gordon.
Social media ship their connection, so the writers add her into a few more scenes as a blast from Jake’s past. And as much as Marlowe hates the attention, is she destined to be part of Angus’ future?
