It takes us through her days at an exclusive LA introduction agency and her struggles to keep her self-esteem intact in a town where image is everything and money talks. Told with candour, it details her dealings with overblown egos and a demanding boss to hobnobbing with celebrities and the ups and downs of life with her Latin husband. Martenson, who has also written two self-help dating books, is already working on its sequel. Diary of a Beverly Hills Matchmaker will be out in February.
