Bridesmaid Blues is one of those stories where we can all relate, especially if you’ve had a guy friend you’ve been crushing on and when you finally get the chance to date him and things eventually don’t work out, you lose not only your boyfriend but your best friend too. That was the basis of Dani and Jamie's relationship - they had known each other for five years and during this friendship, Dani fell slowly in love with Jamie. They dated for months until he dumped her and moved on to another State. A year has passed and Dani is still heartbroken and reeling at the loss of Jamie and imagining all the ways she could love and hurt him at the same time. Whereas Jamie has moved on and had a few other relationships, including the supermodel-like Sonja. Now Dani's best friend is getting married and she has asked Dani to be maid of honour. The downside is that Jamie will be there as best man. Can Dani face seeing him again and has she got a plan of revenge up her sleeve or will the wedding be their chance to reconnect? This was one of those HEA-type stories that readers can laugh, cry and get lost in as we experience what Dani goes through. (PP)
