Twenty-eight-year-old Aisling lives at home with her parents in a rural Irish community, is always up for plenty of craic with best friend Majella and is waiting for long-term boyfriend John to pop the question. But when they go away on a romantic holiday to Tenerife and he shows he’s in no rush to settle down, Aisling decides to move on, moving in with work colleague Sadhbh to a posh apartment in Dublin.
Aisling first came to life on a Facebook page created by the authors about a down-to-earth country girl who lives in the city. She is a warm, funny and kind-hearted character who will easily endear herself to readers as she deals with relationship, friends and family issues. I’ll definitely be back for the sequel, The Importance of Being Aisling.
