Jessica and Jack have made a name for themselves on social media as the perfect couple. They have written a best-selling book about their rules for marriage and now they are off to run a retreat for a handful of couples.
But their life isn’t perfect at all – they are having fertility issues, and Jack, who would prefer to be back at his old job, tends to leave all the influencing stuff to his wife.
In order to reconnect, they decide to take part in the retreat activities themselves but is it really a good idea to bring their problems to the surface?
This was an engaging story about a couple who counsel others on how to improve their relationship while secretly struggling in their own. Told from both characters’ point of views and with flashbacks to past events, this story has a perfect blend of humour and emotional depth.
