Hitting shelves from May 18 is the companion guide to the Sex and the City 2 movie. Sex and the City 2: The Stories. The Fashion. The Adventure picks up two years after the first movie left off, and finds Carrie, Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte heading off on a trip to the Middle East. Written by Eric Cyphers with a foreword from Sarah Jessica Parker, the book has behind-the-scene stories from director Michael Patrick King and cast members; a look at the locations and lots of photographs of all the tantalising fashion. Meanwhile, if you still finding it hard to wait for the movie's release, have a listen to the soundtrack which includes Liza Minnelli singing Beyonce's Single Ladies; Alicia Keyes with Empire State of Mind and her mash-up of Blondie's Rapture; and three singers from reality singing shows, Jennifer Hudson (American Idol) and Leona Lewis (The X Factor) with Love is Your Colour and Ricki-Lee (Australian Idol) with Can't Touch It.

Ready to get Carried Away? . . . The first promotional poster and trailer for the Sex and the City 2 movie have just been released. Voiced by Sarah Jessica Parker with the fab Jay-Z and Alicia Keys track Empire State of Mind as the musical backdrop, the trailer reveals that lots has happened in the two years that have lapsed. With part of the movie set in Morocco, Carrie ends the sneak peek with the line: "Sometimes, you just have to get away with the girls." Sex and the City 2 will be released on May 28.
