A decorating book full of ideas (1000 to be exact) showcased by various designers and decorators. It's all about living in your own space in your own style. What is your style? This book has a section dedicated to figuring that out, are you modern, simple, natural, flea-market, colourful, floral, eclectic, or modern? How much space are you working with? What is your budget? This book has ideas for every style, budget and space. I was trying to figure out how to create a nursery area in my bedroom, and while this book isn't full of nursery ideas, it gave good advice on how to make our bedroom feel different than our baby's area without much effort. A fun, vibrant, easy read, it's filled with gorgeous pictures, floor-plans, and lots of usable information, tools and ideas. I loved the DIY section and flea-market section the most. I also appreciated getting a peek at designers John Adler/Simon Noonan's home, and Vincent Wolf's loft. I wasn't sure if this book would have usable information for an average Joe like myself but I learnt a few things that I plan on using in my mini DIY remodel. (AV)
