This story follows the lives of three women - single mother Lisa, her teenage daugther Ava and her work colleague Marilyn - who are all hiding secrets.
The book started off extremely gripping and kept me wanting to read more and more. The story, which jumps from different time periods giving you an insight into the characters' "previous lives", is about deceit, domestic abuse, friendship and the bond between a mother and daughter.
I really enjoyed reading this book, however I felt that the ending was rushed and it did not seem that believable. Overall though it was a good read and I would look forward to reading more by the same author. (SG)
