Turns out that sex can be hard - and there's a downside to giving it up too easy..." Not That Easy is out in November 2015.

Virgin - Radhika Sanghani (2014)

University student Ellie believes she is probably the only 21-year-old virgin out there. And it's not that she hasn't tried, she just seems to have had bad luck on that front. Without a boyfriend on the horizon - and one awful near-miss experience to her name - Ellie is determined to go out and lose it via a one-night stand. But things don't turn out as she planned. So Ellie, an aspiring writer, starts an anonymous blog with her well-experienced friend Emma talking about everything from waxing mishaps to doing it at that time of the month. This book will no doubt polarise readers. It is obviously rather crude due to its subject matter and Ellie is so obsessed with sex that, as a character, she doesn't really develop beyond that. But this no-holds-barred look at a girl coming to grips with her budding sexuality is well-written and refreshingly funny.

Virgin, the debut novel by British journalist Radhika Sanghani, has been described as an X-rated Bridget Jones for Gen Y. The summary says: "What if you're not the girl who gets swept off her feet? Ellie Kolstakis had never considered her lack of sexual experience a problem - until her doctor effectively calls her a binge-drinking virgin. Suddenly faced with the undeniable fact that she has never had a boyfriend and barely reached third base, Ellie vows to lose her virginity ASAP. With the help of friends Lara, Emma and recently-out-of-the-closet Paul, Ellie sets off on a hilarious mission to pop her 21-year-old cherry. Can she overcome a domineering Greek mother, tame her ungovernable pubes in the waxing salons of London, avoid having her heart broken by the irresistible Jack and shed her V-plates once and for all?"
